New: Wintercamping at Wienerwald!
Good news: MICAMPA Wien Wienerwald will remain open this winter for the first time. From 1 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, we will offer a reduced winter operation with selected pitches. The pitches are equipped with electricity, and selected areas of the sanitary facilities will be available. Please note that, due to winter conditions, water will not be available directly at the pitch. Further booking information will follow shortly.

Our campsite is located on the edge of the Wienerwald in Vienna’s 14th district, offering you an oasis of peace and relaxation, all just 30 minutes away from the city center

When can I check in?
You can access your pitch daily from 10:00 AM or earlier, depending on availability. Please check in at our reception upon arrival. You can provide your license plate number online in advance, which will allow the automated barrier system to open for you. Check-in for our Tiny Houses is available daily from 2:00 PM.
When do I need to check out?
Please vacate your pitch by 10:00 AM and Tiny Houses until 11:00 AM and come to the reception for your check-out.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards, and cash payments are also possible. Payments for on-site services such as laundry/dryer, snack machines, and chemical cassette cleaning are handled entirely digitally.
Is there Wi-Fi at the campsite?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire campsite.
Is there a cooking facility on the premises?
Are the showers included in the price?
Yes. Additionally, you have the option to rent a private bathroom for an extra € 19.00 per day.
Are there washing machines and dryers?
Yes, the campsite features a modern and innovative self-service laundry with high-capacity washing machines and dryers, a dosing system for detergent and fabric softener, a payment station, and a covered area. It includes a 9kg washing machine, a 20kg washing machine, and a 20kg dryer.

Dogs at the campsite
Dogs are allowed at the campsite for an additional fee and must be kept on a leash at all times throughout the entire site. Dogs are not permitted in sanitary facilities, kitchens or tiny houses. We also kindly ask that dogs do their business outside the campsite only.
Are there shopping options nearby?
Yes, there are. A supermarket is located directly on the premises. Additional shopping options can be reached within a few minutes by bike, car, or public transport.
When is the shop open?
Opening hours (Low Season) : 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Opening hours (01.06. – 30.09.) : 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Additionally, there is a 24/7 accessible snack and beverage vending machine – for a quick refreshment anytime.
Where can you buy gas bottles?
- The nearest place to purchase gas cylinders is Bauhaus, approx. 5 minutes away by car. EUROGAS cylinders of 5 kg and 11 kg are usually available there.
- Another option is Rudolf Klaghofer GmbH, approx. 10 minutes away by car. They offer a larger selection of gas cylinders, including EUROGAS cylinders of 5 kg and 11 kg, lightweight plastic cylinders of 5 kg, 7.5 kg and 10 kg, branded steel cylinders of 11 kg, CAMPINGAZ cylinders of 2.75 kg, as well as 190 g gas cartridges.
What public transport connections are available?
Bus: 52A/B takes you to Wien Hütteldorf, connecting to the U4 metro
Metro: U4, Station: Hütteldorf – takes you directly to the city center.
How often do the bus and subway run?
Bus: Buses run every 10 minutes during the day, and every 15 minutes after 10:00 PM. The last bus departs at 12:05 AM.
Metro: The subway runs every 5 minutes during the day and every 7 minutes in the evening. The last subway runs around midnight (except on weekends, when subways run every 15 minutes throughout the night).

Is there a swimming or bathing option nearby?
Yes, the Waldbad Penzing – turn left at the first traffic light (Linzer Str.) – about 1 km straight ahead, then left at the next traffic light.
Can I rent e-bikes at the campsite?
Yes! You’ll find the iBIKE-BOX – a fully automated e-bike rental station – right on our campsite.
There, you can rent a modern Haibike e-bike anytime, 24/7 – easy, flexible, and without waiting.

LOCATION – ARRIVAL
Our campsite is located in the natural recreational area of the Wienerwald Biosphere Reserve and is part of the Penzing Wienerwald landscape conservation area. The Wienerwald Biosphere Reserve is a UNESCO model region for sustainability. The camping idyll at the edge of the Wienerwald is just 30 minutes away from vibrant Vienna, with picturesque hiking trails and mountain biking routes included.
