MICAMPA Wien Donau combines the best of both worlds. With the “Lobau Donau-Auen” National Park, Donauinsel, and Prater in close proximity, you have three recreational areas right at your doorstep – picnic spots, hiking trails, and bike paths included. And don’t forget the direct access to the Danube Cycle Path. Water lovers can enjoy the 20-kilometer-long side arm of the Danube, which offers numerous swimming bays, sunbathing areas, sports, and playgrounds for fun and relaxation for all ages. Also nearby: a waterski lift and a freestyle ramp.

When can I check in?
You can access your pitch daily from 10:00 AM or earlier, depending on availability. Please check in at our reception upon arrival.
When do I need to check out?
Check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM. However, there are parking options available across from the reception if you wish to stay a few hours longer.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards, and cash payments are also possible. Payments for on-site services such as laundry/dryer, snack machines, and chemical toilet cleaning are handled entirely digitally.
What recreational activities are available at the campsite?
We guarantee variety: On-site, there is a children’s playground and a ping-pong table. Since our campsite is located right next to the Danube Island, you can enjoy a range of activities there:

What‘s the quickest way to get to the ,,Wiener Prater’’ ?
The amusement park at the Prater is a popular destination among our guests and is located nearby, on the other side of the Danube. You can either take the U2 subway line directly to Praterstern or enjoy a relaxed 10-minute bike ride across the Danube Island and along the Prater main avenue. Soon you’ll be admiring the city of Vienna from above on the Ferris wheel.
Is there Wi-Fi at the campsite?
Yes. In the reception area, you have access to our free Wi-Fi.
Is there a cooking facility on the premises?
In our guest kitchen, you can cook around the clock. A dedicated refrigerator is available for all our guests.
Can I arrive by car if I have booked a tent pitch without a car parking space?
Yes, arriving by car is generally possible. However, please note that the category “Tent pitch with bicycle” does not include a car parking space on site. If you were unable to book a “Tent pitch with car”, unfortunately there is no additional parking available at MICAMPA Wien Donau.
The nearest alternative parking option is the Park & Ride facility at the ,,Donaustadtbrücke”.
Are there washing machines and dryers?
Yes, the campsite features a modern and innovative self-service laundry with high-capacity washing machines and dryers, a dosing system for detergent and fabric softener, a payment station, and a covered area. It includes a 9kg washing machine, a 20kg washing machine, and a 20kg dryer.
Are there shopping facilities nearby?
Yes, there are. A small shop is located directly on the premises. Additional shopping facilities can be reached within a few minutes by bike, car, or public transport, including a shopping mall, supermarkets, a bank and a pharmacy.
When is the shop open?
Opening hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 4:30 PM – 21:30 PM
Additionally, there is a 24/7 accessible snack and beverage vending machine – for a quick refreshment anytime.
Where can you buy gas cylinders?
The nearest place to buy gas cylinders is at Hornbach or Bauhaus Stadlau (about 10 minutes by car).
Which public transport connections are available?
Bus: 92B takes you to U2 ,,Donaustadtbrücke”
Metro: U2, Station: ,,Donaustadtbrücke” – takes you directly to the city center.
How often do the bus and subway run?
Bus: Buses generally run twice per hour. The last bus from the ‘Donaustadtbrücke’ subway station to the campsite departs at 9:31 PM.
Metro: The subway runs every 5 minutes during the day, and every 7 minutes in the evening. The last subway departs around midnight.
When does the last bus / metro run?
Last bus: 21:52 PM
Last metro: 00:10 AM (On weekends and before public holidays, the subway also runs at night, every 15 minutes).
Is there a swimming or bathing option nearby?
Yes. Among others, the beaches of the New Danube. Additional swimming spots can be found in the Lobau National Park and at ,,Gänsehäufel”.

Located in the heart of the Danube recreation area and easily accessible by car: Simply take the motorway exit “Ölhafen Lobau,” and in just a few minutes, you’ll arrive at check-in for our idyllic campsite – not far from the famous Vienna Prater.
